Fall is in the air! Be sure to get out and enjoy that sweet, cool weather before it gets too chilly. If you’re local to Louisville, you already know there are so many ways to enjoy fall. No matter where you are, though, you’re sure to start seeing apples and pumpkins and hay bales soon!
Here are a few of the highlights from our September.
We started off right with our “First Responders on the First” shout out to the Louisville Division of Fire. They do a fantastic job and we’ve done some repairs for a few firefighters, too! Very cool. Remember, ALL First Responders and Military receive a 10% discount everyday at TechRestore. We couldn’t be more grateful for your service.
We also gave some love to our non-local customers and friends with a blog (which you saw, of course!) about all the benefits of shipping your repairs to us. When we started out over 14 years ago in California, our repairs were primarily from out of town customers. We pioneered overnight service and fast shipping. We still receive a lot of repairs via UPS and other methods (and we’re still dazzling with our fast and trusted service).
If it was up to us, everyday would be National Back Up Your Data Day! (It really is a National day, March 31st.) What’s more heartbreaking than losing your data? Especially when you thought it was backed up or if your back up fails, too. While TechRestore does offer data recovery, the best, most economical solution is to have more than one backup. Call or come by and talk to one of our Apple Certified specialists to see which backup solution makes the most sense for you!

We didn’t post about this on FaceBook, but Sunday, September 23rd marked the one year anniversary of our Official Grand Opening! We moved to Kentucky in July of 2017 and began doing repairs right away, but there was a lot going on behind the scenes. There was so much to clean up, build out, procure, negotiate and promote before the ribbon was cut! We’re still really happy with the result of that initial hard work and all the work we’ve done since then (and the plans we have for the future!). Most of all, we’re looking forward to continuing being a good neighbor and THE go to Apple and Mac source for years to come.
Here are some pictures from our September 2017 Grand Opening.
Tech Travis helps a happy customer.
Yep, that’s the Oregon Trail game on the Apple IIe in the lobby. Come by and play while you wait (and inevitably die of dysentery! Did anyone survive that game?!).
A table from TechRestore in CA blends well with the locally sourced barrels and wood floors of our KY lobby. A selection of Macs also on display.
Our B.A.Y.S. (big a** yellow sign), which we think can be seen from the International Space Station (hey, if they need a repair, we’re happy to oblige – as long as they pay the shipping!).
Here’s to many more years of making memories with our neighbors and friends, near and far! Happy fall, y’all!
