What does QuickScan check for?

QuickScan helps identify common computer health issues such as outdated software, missing updates, driver issues, security warnings, and possible performance problems.

Does QuickScan fix my device automatically?

No. QuickScan does not automatically repair your device. It gives you a report so you can review the results and decide whether to try simple fixes yourself or bring your device to TechRestore for help.

Why does Windows show a warning when I run QuickScan?

Some Windows computers may show a security warning before running a downloaded scan file. This does not always mean the file is unsafe. If you are unsure, bring your device to TechRestore and we can help review it.

Why does my Mac show a warning when opening the scan?

Mac devices may show a security message when opening certain downloaded files. If you are not comfortable approving the file yourself, TechRestore can help review your device and explain the next step.
