Since 2004, TechRestore has grown from one repair experience into a nationwide technology service company. Today, led by Jeff Jewell in Louisville, Kentucky, we provide expert repairs, quality devices, and customer-focused service locally and nationwide.
The Beginning
2004
It started with a broken camcorder. Shannon Jean was preparing for a family vacation when the device failed. After taking it to the only big-box repair option in town, he experienced 37 days of delays and poor customer service. He saw an opportunity to do things differently and TechRestore was born.
Already experienced in Mac sales and repair, Shannon built TechRestore around fast turnaround, upfront pricing, convenient drop-off options, and exceptional customer service. Over the next 13 years, the company expanded its reach, earned recognition, and served customers locally and nationwide.
Changing of the Guard
2017
In 2017, TechRestore entered a new chapter when Jeff Jewell took the helm and moved the company to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. After more than 14 years working in Apple-authorized service environments and technology repair leadership, Jeff brought his own vision to TechRestore. He assembled an experienced team focused on technical expertise, strong customer service, and building a workplace people enjoyed being part of.

Since moving to Louisville in 2017, TechRestore has continued to expand while preserving the service values that shaped the company from the beginning. Today, our offerings include device repair, data recovery, certified pre-owned devices, education warranty programs, accessories, and authorized repair services.
